Some Recent Problems and Reflections
I have been busy making a living recently and neglected introspection. Taking advantage of this quiet time on a rainy weekend, I will calmly sort out the current problems and think about current problems and strategies.
The biggest problem currently is that my energy is infinitely fragmented. The main interferences are short videos, WeChat messages, and remote voice conferences. Some work that requires concentration and time is interrupted by various trifles, and I have to restart my train of thought. The problem has become so serious that even without outside disturbance, I will unconsciously take out my phone to swipe those short videos. This problem must be solved.
The second problem is that I haven’t written for a long time. There are always thousands of reasons not to write, and the benefits of writing have never been kept in mind. In this era of overflowing invalid information, it is even more necessary to calm down and write. Writing is an effective means to clarify ideas and an auxiliary tool for decision-making. Only when ideas are put on paper do we have the opportunity to scrutinize whether they are feasible, and only when they are on paper can we see the naivety of certain ideas. Thinking that is not implemented in writing is not thinking.
Make full use of CHATGPT, except for writing. Many of the texts published before were written by CHATGPT. Although the text is smoother than what I write, it lacks soul. CHATGPT can be helpful to individuals and organizations in almost all scenarios, except for creative writing, where it is of no help and will reduce a person’s creativity. Long-term dependence will cause degradation of writing ability. But CHATGPT is not completely useless for writing. You can use it to modify the format, ask rhetorical questions, or check for omissions to improve your ideas. Recently, I have been always thinking about changing the idimi.com domain name. The reason is nothing more than that the weight of the .xyz domain is not as high as the .com domain. I am tired of the idimi.com domain name. I spent a lot of energy registering some messy domain names, and finally I still think the idimi.com domain name is the best. I hereby solemnly announce that I will not change the domain name within the next 40 years and will manage it seriously. What the domain name is is not important, what is important is to seriously create more valuable content.
Regarding the website content, I was very keen on using CHATGPT to translate the content into multiple languages not long ago, but I don’t understand these languages, which eventually led to difficulties in update and maintenance. I also plan to adjust the multi-language support here, only supporting Chinese and English, and other languages will no longer be supported.
Due to being busy with my own work and messing with the website, it also led to another thing: investment, which has been neglected for a long time. Now that the website is ready and the work has entered a new channel, investment needs to be restored. It will be updated again in the near future.
