The principal contradiction in our country at present and for a period of time in the future is the contradiction between the people’s ever-growing needs for a better life and unbalanced and inadequate development. Therefore, for a period of time in the future, the problems of unbalanced regional development, unbalanced urban and rural development, and inadequate rural development will still exist, which determines that the problem of relative poverty will exist for a long time, and there are still relatively large risks of returning to poverty in some areas.
