“Cliff Walkers” and “The Message” both tell stories of underground party members fighting wits and courage with the enemy on the hidden front to complete arduous tasks. Zhang Xianchen, Zhou Yi, Xiao Lan, Wang Yu, Chu Liang, Gu Xiaomeng, and Wu Zhiguo face betrayal by traitors, infiltration by enemies, arrest by secret agents, torture, and mental and physical torment at any time. Walking on the cliff with the sound of wind and cranes every day, what keeps them going is only the unextinguished belief.

Belief is the concentrated expression of the three views. It is deeper into the bone marrow than religious belief and more binding on individuals than moral concepts. It is a powerful spiritual force. Belief emphasizes not the correctness of understanding, but the tendency of emotion and the firmness of will. In the two movies, not only Zhang Xianchen and Gu Xiaomeng have beliefs, but Takeda and others also have beliefs. Although their beliefs are completely different, it is because of their beliefs that they are unscrupulous towards enemies, completely trust comrades, and are absolutely loyal to the organization.

For a company, surviving in fierce market competition is very difficult. Whether the company’s partners have a common and consistent belief is the only necessary condition for the company’s success. • AgFunder report shows that investment in China’s agricultural sector reached US$6 billion in 2020. Consumer-oriented investments, such as fresh food e-commerce, are showing a decreasing trend, while investments in digital agriculture and biotechnology oriented towards the upstream of agriculture are increasing. This is also consistent with the general trend of domestic investment shifting to 2B services. In addition to the development trend of the venture capital industry, the increase in land concentration and the outflow of agricultural population also provide a basis for replacing humans with machines in agricultural production.
• The EU launched the carbon farming framework plan. To cope with climate change, on the one hand, we can reduce anthropogenic carbon emissions, and on the other hand, we must also achieve carbon capture through agricultural carbon sequestration. Some countries in the EU and the US are exploring allowing farmers to sell their carbon sequestration results to large carbon emitters in the carbon trading market to obtain appropriate income. Research by Wageningen University shows that each acre of land can sequester up to 12 tons of carbon per year. Calculated at US$15 per ton, each mu of land can receive an additional US$180 per year (equivalent to RMB 210 per mu).
