Endgame Brought by Iron Man

iDiMi—Endgame Brought by Iron Man

When people feel regret, they often wish for a time machine to return to the past. In Avengers: Endgame, the heroes decide to time‑travel to retrieve the Infinity Stones and save half the universe wiped out by Thanos in Infinity War. As Ant‑Man quips, “Why are we always the Avengers and never the Pre‑vengers?” While they succeed in gathering the Stones, they also draw Thanos to Earth. Amid the rubble of the Avengers compound, the heroes fight their final battle against him. After a desperate struggle, Iron Man snaps his fingers — and Thanos’s army is erased.

Values decide everything. What you want to do and what you can do ultimately flow from your inner compass. Thanos’s aim in eliminating half of all life isn’t to rule the universe, but to restore balance in his own way. With his grim task complete, his dream is to retire to a garden world and live out pastoral days.

Technology is productivity. With Stark Industries cracking time‑tunnel modeling, the heroes can revisit places where the Stones once were. Along the way they say farewell to past selves, meet parents long gone, and make choices that mean they may never return to the futures they knew. Those who traveled back mostly wanted to reconcile with themselves and to offer more love to their families.

Human hearts are the most unpredictable. Thanos’s daughter Nebula becomes the hinge of the plot. With the Avengers’ cosmic‑scan tech, Earth’s defenders could have set up stronger safeguards when Thanos arrived. Yet our heroes are large‑hearted and unsuspecting — and a Nebula from 2014 slips back to Earth in place of her 2019 self. In the end, the 2019 Nebula makes the hard choice to kill her 2014 self, keeping the Stones with the Avengers. A puzzler remains: if someone travels back and kills their earlier self, does their future self still persist?

Heroes emerge in every age and each shines for a time. New heroes will take the stage; old heroes must take their bow. One Iron Man gives his life for universal peace. Captain America, with worthy successors, enters his twilight years. Whether Black Widow truly bids farewell — we’ll see in the next chapter.
